What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
LEGO! A wedding where each guest had a personalised lego figure based on their life/profession all sourced from Lego original characters and took them over a year to collect!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
From initial contact and pricing up of brief we would then meet on site to discuss all aspects of the day and fine tune the final quotation and brief to ensure we are supplying exactly what the couple are looking for. Constant contact leading up to the Big Day and afterwards.
How do you create an ambiance in a marquee?
Lovely flat material linings and more importantly lighting! Everything from chandeliers through to L.E.D lighting.
Where is the most exciting place that you have put a marquee?
Hmm either on a battleship or at Hogwarts (Leavesden Studios)!! Seriously - built a marquee on H.M.S Belfast as well as supplying the "changing room" marquee for the first ever shown Quidditch game in Philosophers Stone. We also have some amazing "secret garden" venues in and around the CHilterns
What is your record time for putting up your marquee?
Depends on the size and interior but 8 hours is about right.
What is your favourite design of marquee and why?
Either beautiful flat material Ivory linings in the summer with panoramic windows or lovely dark linings (from our own stock) in the Winter with heating and warm lighting.
