What is your most memorable wedding?
My own. September 2014. We've learnt so much from working with amazing agencies and brides, loads of which we incorporated into my dream wedding. It was amazing. Things will only get better in future.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Use knowledgeable and experienced suppliers. People often buy on price, which invariably results in a lesser degree of ability, safety, know how and quality. It's potentially the biggest day of your life so compromise only where you really have to.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
There are so many elements that surprise and wow. Difficult to name a single stand out item
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We take a brief, draw a CAD, price up and offer a mood board of images. Assuming all is going to plan, we then suggest a site visit to meet, greet and brainstorm
How do you create an ambiance in a marquee?
Lighting, complimentary furnishings, bringing the outside in when working at special venues, attention to table and surrounding detail, warmth or cooling depending on time of year, fabrics, planning every element of the guest experience through arrival to departure
Where is the most exciting place that you have put a marquee?
Endless beautiful homes and venues. Royal households, Blenheim Palace, Lambeth Palace, Hedsor House, Aynhoe Park, The Grove, Tower Bridge, QE2 Conference Centre, Luton Hoo, Syon Park, Kensington Roof Gardens. The list is exhaustive
What is your record time for putting up your marquee?
We can be really quick, but always err on the side of caution. There are a great number of variables that necessitate the need for contingency. We are yet to fail on delivering successfully and on time. We would never compromise this by trying to rush a process that introduces risk. That said we have dropped massive installations for 600 guests overnight and delivered an emergency hospitality facility for an international royal family in 13 hours from panic phone call, including power, air conditioning, furnishings, linings, lighting, WCs etc.
What is your favourite design of marquee and why?
Our Bamboo tents are amazing. We fabricate them ourselves with bamboo sourced from Asia and South America and recyclable PVC that comes from France. They are the UKs only real environmentally friendly tents and they look stunning. Additionally we produce our own PVC that enables us to keep clean and new looking. We stock our own scaffold system that enables us to split internal levels and build on any gradient
