We tailor our marquees to your requirements so you can have exactly what you want and where you require it. A great deal of time and care is taken to regularly clean and maintain our equipment so the marquee is in first class condition for your event. All of our marquees have white roofs and walls. We can supply either Georgian windows or Panoramic windows. Abacus can organise generators for a full electricity supply and luxury toilets. We can also provide recommended contacts for caterers, bars and other unique requirements. If your garden is limited for space then use our meadow. This area has large parking facilities and an electricity supply. Abacus Marquees offers a free site visit and a no obligation quotation.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

A last minute wedding when a venue burned down the weekend before the wedding and we were contacted to provide a marquee. It was great that we had the availability and to see the couples reaction to their new venue was priceless.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Elegant, fun, personal, helpful, charming

What about your business are you most proud of?

The whole team are like a family and work tirelessly together to create your magical day.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Order the biggest of everything you want, we can reduce the size later but we can't increase it if the stock is booked elsewhere.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

After initial call or email a quotation is sent. We then carry out a site visit to dicuss the quote and the location in more detail. We bring photos and samples to site and customise the marquee. After the site visit a revised quotation and CAD drawings will be provided. Throughout this process we are always available on the phone or by email to answer any questions and to find any additional items required.

How do you create an ambiance in a marquee?

We have many options for creating ambience, using linings, drapes, lighting, furniture etc. During the site cisit we would discuss the ambience required and then dress the marquee accordingly.

Where is the most exciting place that you have put a marquee?

Around a swimming pool, all four sides. The couple had a fountain and laser show on the swimming pool.

What is your record time for putting up your marquee?

Depends entirely on the size of the marquee and what is required inside. We have put marquees up in half an hour but a marquee for a ball may take 3 days.

What is your favourite design of marquee and why?

Traditional pole marquees are always popular for weddings giving a more cathedral-like feeling than a frame but the frame gives a more modern and open feel. I like aspects of both.
