What is your most memorable wedding?
At the Tythe Barn in Launton. I had become a mum just 3 weeks before! I had a team of florists on hand to help, but I wanted to be as involved as possible and was able to personally set up the venue flowers and deliver the bridal party flowers to the bride. We got on really well throughout the whole process and she was quite overwhelmed to see me there as she was expecting someone from my team to be there instead! It was also my favourite look and the flowers I was able to use were stunning!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Try not to get too stressed. Suppliers are there to make things easier for you. It will all come together perfectly on the day!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I would be delighted to speak with you either face to face or over the telephone to get a real insight into your requirements. Once we have got to know each other a little, I will provide you with a proposal that presents a visual interpretation of the details we have discussed. If you love my creative vision, I then ask for a deposit to secure your wedding date in my diary. I only work on one wedding per day, so I will be with you to ensure that your floral arrangements are nothing short of perfect on the day. I understand that planning a wedding is an exciting time, and as you plans grow and evolve, so may your floral visions. With this in mind, I will be on hand to answer any queries you may have during the planning process, before meeting with you for a final consultation around three months before the big day. When the day of your wedding finally comes around, I will be there to make sure that everything runs smoothly. From delivering the bridal party flowers to your location, to setting up the ceremony and reception venues, I will be your “flower-fairy” for the duration.
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
I would always suggest reusing ceremony flower arrangements at the reception where possible. For example, a ceremony table arrangement could be moved to the top table. If there are jars of flowers then why not give them to guests to take home? It's a nice touch. Otherwise you could preserve your flowers and get them put into beautiful ornaments or pressed for a frame.
