Wild Orchid Full Description
Wild Orchid Floral Design is located in an enchanting farm floral studio and was created by Lorraine back in 2003. As a wedding florist my expertise, knowledge, passion and creativity will be shown from the outset. No two weddings are the same. We love to be inspired and we inspire our clients to be able to achieve their vision. I love everything there is about romance, and what better way to show this than through flowers. I buy direct from the auctions in holland but flowers are flown in from all over the world. I also love to work with a English grown flowers including garden roses and scented sweet peas. only working with grade A flowers, as well as working with English flower growers. I have a wide selection of glassware, urns, pedestals, ceramics and our attention to detail is key right up to when we leave after set up. We work locally and nationally and will help in any way we can to make your flowery dream become and enchanting wonderland.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

My goodness, I think of one and then another comes to mind, and then another. We worked for two days on site at Wrest Park for a Parisian inspired wedding. That was pretty awesome. Also letting our creativeness go wild at Bryony and Chris' wedding at Flaxbourne Gardens.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Romantic, textured, scrumptious, soft, dramatic

What about your business are you most proud of?

That people love what we do, and we have the ability to work with so many different styles and techniques. Brides recommending us to their friends and their friends x

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Don't stress !

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Initial telephone / email conversation, followed by an initial consultation at our premises, we provide a mock up design of the table centrepiece once the bride and groom has decided to work with us, communication throughout the planning of the wedding as and when required, final meeting 4 weeks before the wedding date, et voila !

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

succulents ! We love them :)

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

Just go with what you love, some brides love to have a favourite flower of someone who has passed. This can be really emotional but really comforting.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

I love lily of the valley and peony. Fluffyness and delicateness with heavenly scents.

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

You could have them preserved. We have a company that we recommend.
