What is your most memorable wedding?
A fairytale themed wedding. The bride and groom were so excitable and adventurous and we got on so well that we are the greatest of friends still today.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Innovative, vintage, adventurous, exciting, luxurious
What about your business are you most proud of?
The High level of quality and service I provide for my clients which is shown through the awards and reviews I've received
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Focus on what really matters about your wedding. It's so easy to overspend on things that no-oone remembers or to cut corners on important things that are captured forever such as dress, photographer and flowers. A good supplier will be able to help give you your dream day within a budget that suits - but be realistic.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One couple had a little table set up with framed photos at each place setting of all thier loved ones who had passed away. It was the most beautiful and heart breaking thing I've ever seen. I love all the personal touches. That is what sets each wedding apart and makes each one really special.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
After taking all the necessary details regarding the wedding I then let them discuss freely all the ideas and visions they have for the day and how they want it to look. Every little detail is brought to life from the colours to the styles and how to make the whole look personal for them. We talk about budgets and what is possible. I am there to help make their vision a reality.
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
Fairy lights! Not interesting on its own perhaps but it was for a vegas wedding and the bride imagined her bouquet to be illuminated so I put fairy lights in her bouquet and the top table flowers. She literally glowed as she walked down the aisle.
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
Every flower has a meaning but choosing a flower for its personal, sentimental value is really special. I love to use Ivy - It's an old favourite and symbolises fidelity which is so important in any marriage. My own bouquet meant fidelity, trust, love and friendship.
What is the most romantic flower and why?
That is down to personal preference of course, but for me it is cherry Blossom, garden roses or freesia. The delicate fragrances and appearance are perfect. Nothing beats seeing blossom in the breeze on a sunny spring day.
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
We offer a floral preservation service so why not have your flowers pressed and framed as a work of art to admire. They can also make great gifts for family too.
