What is your most memorable wedding?
I loved working on an amazing wedding in June where 3 generations were all included in the ceremony together. It was such a special day for the whole family and working with the bride to ensure everyone's florals were perfect for them, the young flower girl had a special flower wand designed to cohesively match the wedding but be perfect for a toddler to feel included with her own flowers and comfortable to hold and looked super cute in pictures!

What about your business are you most proud of?
My personalised approach, each couples floral designs are tailored to their style and budget. I love taking the time to learn about each couple and create bespoke wedding florals that work for them.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I loved the small planted sunflower pots we used as table decor at a previous wedding, guests were invited to take one home and then they had a reminder of the lovely day they had together celebrating the couples wedding. It was something that everyone shared from the day and took a little piece of the love home.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Once I receive an enquiry it's great to chat through a little more information, such as any style or designs a couple likes so then during our consultation I can come prepared with ideas and an understanding of your style. Then during the consultation either in-person or via zoom/skype we have a relaxed chat about numbers, specifics of florals and your vision for the day. Following this I send a personalised proposal with a moodboard and quote for you to look through.
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
I love adding in lighter blooms at different depths and angles, creating an airy garden style bouquet with lots of movement, this means all the flowers are able to be seen and enjoyed
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
Different flowers have significance for couples, it might be a flower your partner loves, one they always choose for an anniversary present, or a flower that someone significant grew in their garden that you would love to include.
What is the most romantic flower and why?
For me the most romantic flower is a garden rose, they come in such beautiful colours and open up to large textured blooms that are always admired by guests.
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
There are lots of companies that will preserve your bridal bouquet, either in resin/glass or press the flowers and frame them for you. Let me know if this is something you'd like and I can put you in contact with a designer. For the ceremony and reception flowers you can pick them up the following day and do whatever you like with them, or if you're off on your honeymoon don't worry we're there to take-down and remove the florals from your day.
