What is your most memorable wedding?
My most memorable weddings are when I work with couples who completely get my style and they trust me to create their wedding. They obviously have loads input into the design, but those couples who tell me to go with whatever flowers will look best and to surprise them with elements to the day, end up getting the best out of my services.

This is usually focused around memory tables or photo areas. These touches really give the guests a full experience into the couple and who they are, how they met etc
Describe your typical process with a couple.
After the initial enquirey, I alsways ask for as much information as possible about their vision, quantities', colours, style, budget. I then create a design sheet full of inspirational images and rough pricing. Once I get a better understanding of preferences and needs, I zone into those specific areas and then create a proper invoice. I send out T's and C's and the save the date invoice, and then we plan in a consultation at their venue. We can also have video calls or communicate via email and what's app regularly.
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
Dried elements and succulents
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
Every couple is different and have different likes and needs. Sometimes couples want to add a specific flower as one their mum or grandma had. Or they want a white rose if they are from Yorkshire, or a thistle if they are Scottish. That's a nice touch!
What is the most romantic flower and why?
I personally like ranunculus as they are so delicate and frilly. I love the movement of them as they have a stem which is naturally curved. Most people love roses, as do I. Especially ones which can be reflected and the scented varieties.
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
Most of my couples give them to their friends and family and keep bunches for themselves. They say they last ages afterwards which they love. Some try to dried them out and ask me for tips on how to do this. Others are happy to just safe the dried elements as keepsakes.
