FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

One of my most memorable weddings was my very first bride. Handing over her simple white rose bouquet for the civil ceremony remains a special memory. That moment marked the beginning of my journey in creating unforgettable weddings.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Natural, Organic, Refined, Elegant, Modern

What about your business are you most proud of?

Recently, I embarked on a floral workshop in France, led in collaboration by Courtney of Winsome Floral and Cara of Trille Floral. Situated just outside of Paris in the picturesque Val d'Orger, the workshop took place within the timeless walls of a 17th-century château. It was an absolute privilege to learn from these two exceptional florists whom I have long admired. Participating in this workshop was a remarkable milestone for my business, as their inspirational teaching and distinctive design aesthetic have greatly influenced my approach as I transition into crafting my own wedding creations. The experience was truly a highlight, infusing my work with a newfound sense of creativity and refinement.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

When it comes to flowers, my number one wedding planning tip for couples is to choose a florist whose style aligns with your vision. Look for a florist whose work catches your eye and reflects the style you are looking for. Each florist has their own unique approach to floral design, so it's essential to trust their expertise and creative experience. By selecting the right florist, you can ensure that your wedding flowers truly capture the essence of your special day.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

One of my favourite personal touches I've seen at weddings is when bridesmaids carry individual one-type flower bouquets. It adds a touch of uniqueness, allowing each bridesmaid's bouquet to reflect their personality. It's a beautiful way to showcase a flowers individual beauty while still harmoniously complementing the overall bridal party aesthetic.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

My typical process with couples begins by establishing a personal connection. As I only take on a limited number of weddings each year, I ensure high-quality work and personalised attention to bring your floral vision to life. To get started, you can reach out using the enquiry form, and I will contact you to arrange a complimentary consultation. This consultation is an opportunity for us to get acquainted, discuss your ideas, and ensure that we are a good fit. Following our initial chat, you will receive a bespoke proposal and all costs will be clearly detailed. You can then secure your booking with a deposit and we then delve into your ideas in more detail. Each wedding is unique, focusing on the most beautiful blooms of the season. I will schedule a venue visit to visualise key elements of your wedding and make sure the proposal aligns perfectly. As the big day approaches, we'll have a final consultation 8-10 weeks prior to finalise any small details. On the day itself, I will arrive in ample time to personally hand-deliver your bouquet, set up and oversee the placement of all florals, ensuring everything is flawless for you and your guests. Afterward, I will return to dismantle any floral installations and collect any hired items as needed.

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

While I haven't incorporated anything particularly unconventional in a bouquet yet, I find it heartwarming when brides include sentimental flowers or a cherished tocket as a meaningful memory. These personal touches add a unique and sentimental element to the bouquet, making it even more special for the bride on her wedding day.

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

I often recommend couples to consider seasonal blooms, particularly British flowers that align with the month of their wedding. Their scents and fleeting beauty evoke cherished memories, making them a perfect choice to capture the essence of the most special day of their lives.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

This all depends on personal preference. While roses are widely considered romantic, one of my personal favourites are sweet peas. Their delicate beauty, enchanting fragrance, and elegant appearance make them an incredibly romantic flower.

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

After the wedding, what you do with the flowers is entirely up to you. Some couples opt to leave them for friends and family to enjoy the following day, while others prefer to have everything removed and sustainably disposed of. The choice is yours, and we are happy to accommodate your preference to ensure the post-wedding handling of the flowers aligns with your wishes.
