If you’re a couple looking for stunning floral designs that truly tell your love story, The Village Blooms is here to make that happen. Located in Verwood, Dorset, this boutique florist studio is led by Karen—a passionate, qualified florist with over eight years of experience. Karen’s creative journey began early, even designing her own wedding dress, so she deeply understands how important every detail is on your big day. Her floral creations are inspired by nature, the seasons, and most importantly, your unique story.
It all starts with a relaxed, personal consultation where Karen listens closely to your flower preferences and style—what you love and what you don’t. Whether you’re planning an intimate ceremony or a grand celebration, The Village Blooms is dedicated to bringing your floral vision to life with care and creativity.
Conveniently based on the Dorset and Hampshire border, The Village Blooms serves couples across the region, including the stunning New Forest area. Past couples rave about Karen’s helpful advice, creative ideas, and how perfectly their flowers matched their vision—making their wedding day even more memorable.
My first wedding that I did! The bride was amazing, she wanted lots of colour and a quirky look. Her bouquet was made with Sandriana leaves, which gave a star look around the Gerbera, her favourite flowers. All the buttonholes were different colours and the table arrangements were a real splash of colour! I wish I had a good photo of the bouquet though!
I pride myself in the finer details, making sure the style and colour of your dresses and suits are taken into consideration when creating my designs. I love to add personal touches, so don't be afraid to ask if something out of the ordinary can be included.
Be true to yourselves, you don't have to follow the trends!
I like to chat with my couples to get to know them and find out how they see their wedding day, talking through which flowers they like or dislike, then suggesting designs which will bring their vision to life. If my couple likes what we discuss then I produce a detailed quote, once reviewed and agreed a booking fee is then paid to secure the wedding date with me. A further consultation is carried out around 4 weeks prior to the wedding date, to check all the finer details and then payment will be due 3 weeks prior to the wedding date.
Gorgeous textured Echeveria succulents and Roses made with paper sheet music, not in the same bouquet!
The ones you love, if they are in season!
The most romantic flower is the one given with love, it doesn't matter what variety it is!
Enjoy them and give them as gifts.
