Floristry was always going to be a huge part of the day – we had bouquets, boutonnieres, aisle decorations, table dressings, a moon arch and even flowers on the cake! Olivia made the entire process incredibly straightforward and was extremely flexible when we wanted to change or adjust things [...] she definitely went above and beyond!

Olivia was great from the start and was very easy to work with. Her passion clearly shone through and we were keen to try and use suppliers who had this passion rather than seeing our wedding as just another one! We shared some initial ideas on our themes and flowers and Olivia quickly built a vision that we loved and it was a great balance with the rest of our decor & theme. Olivia was also very practical about suggesting and recommending repurposing the arrangements in the ceremonial room for our wedding breakfast tables to save on some cost. Olivia made the entire process incredibly straightforward and was extremely flexible when we wanted to change or adjust things. She was only ever a WhatsApp message away and always responded very quickly. She helped us plan every last detail and suggested ways we could reuse flowers to keep wastage and costs down. Olivia was there early to ensure everything was in place, helped throughout the day moving flowers from the ceremony room through to our breakfast room and even got involved with assisting the event staff with other aspects of set up – she definitely went above and beyond! She even came back early the next morning to package up our left-over flowers so we, and our guests, could take some home. A massive thank you again Olivia – we would highly recommend The Surrey Florist to anyone!

Cannot recommend Olivia enough! From the very first call to get a quote, it was so clear how much passion Olivia has for flowers and helping us to create our big day. Throughout the planning process, Olivia was open to our ideas and also suggested some fab ideas too. Her communication throughout was also so quick and we never felt like we were being annoying! On the day, we honestly cannot thank Olivia enough for creating and going above our expectations and our visions. The flowers were beautiful and really boosted the venue. She managed to repurpose a lot of the ceremony flowers for throughout the day which we loved. We gave Olivia free rein for table decorations and arrangements and she did not dissapoint, each table was so delicate and matched our vision perfectly. And the top table was just incredible! So many people commented throughout the day on how beautiful the flowers were! And guests the next morning loved taking home some small bouquets Olivia made up that morning of leftover flowers to save waste. Thank you so much!

Planning a wedding was probably one of the most stressful things Paul and I have ever done. Flowers definitely came as one of our top priorities, but where to start - with the best florist of course! Enter Olivia @The Surrey Florist, who appeared on our radar as a recommendation from a friend. He said you guys will make lots of decisions when planning your wedding and choosing Olivia to be your florist will be the best decision you will ever make – and he was right. It all started as a mood board presentation and a zoom call with Olivia. Olivia listened patiently as I excitedly took her through our thoughts, ideas and colour scheme. Our venue was unique as we would get married outside and have our wedding breakfast indoors so the flowers would need to have a huge impact in a large space and be easily transferred into the indoor space. After talking for over an hour I could see Olivias passion for what she does and knew from our very first meeting that this was indeed a great match. Olivia was keen to understand our venue so we sent her lots of pictures ( and measurements) of the venue and as much as I had my ideas I knew that Olivias experience and expertise would help elevate these ideas. A few weeks later Olivia came back with her proposal and broke this down into really clear stories and we were absolutely blown away how she brought our ideas to life. Olivia carefully detailed each arrangement including the flowers that she would use and how they would look and they were absolutely perfect. When planning a wedding budget always plays a huge factor and in our initial consultation transparency was key so Olivia knew how much we were prepared to spend and she came back bang on budget which really meant a lot to us and cemented the fact that we knew we had made the right decision. I mentioned to Olivia during our initial consultation that I was thinking about carrying a bouquet down the aisle and she loved the idea. I didn’t know what I wanted so Olivia and I embarked on a journey with numerous thoughts and ideas – amazingly we ended up using her grandmothers wedding bouquet as our inspiration – Olivia provided me with several drawings and I loved it. We kept in touch as the wedding month approached and we had our final consultation at the venue. We walked all the spaces and chatted about plans and we didn’t need to change a thing as Olivia had thought of every single detail. The big day arrived and we met Olivia at the venue she presented me with my bouquet and it was more than I could ever have imagined it was stunning. The bridesmaids bouquets were beautiful and complemented my bouquet perfectly. Olivia had created button holes for the wedding party and even thought about the womens button holes and as not to create any holes on outfits had mounted them on a magnets – its those little thoughtful details that made Olivia the perfect choice. Olivia and colleague were a dream team on the day and once we confirmed that the weather was playing ball – they started to set up the venue. We had quite a tight turnaround from arrival at the venue to the start of the wedding service and with plenty of time to spare the flowers were ready to wow our guests. From the 2 giant urns with spectacular blooms, the gorgeous floral trees bursting with colour and the stunning flower meadow that surrounded our cake our vision came to life and it was spectacular! We have had so many complements about the flowers and how beautiful they were and even when the big day was over Olivia bunched the flowers up and we gifted them out to our guests so that they could take a piece of our wedding home with them! Olivia doing our flowers was the best decision we could have made and we simply cant thank her enough for the beauty that she brought to our wedding with every single floral detail. Olivia was responsive, proactive, and overall amazing to work with throughout the entire process. Everything was set-up perfectly for our day, and it showed that she took time before our wedding to understand what we wanted and how we wanted it set up. Where to start! I knew flowers were going to be the core of my ceremony aesthetic and so finding the right florist was paramount. From our first meeting with Olivia we knew she was the one. I gave her a brief of ‘moody Christmas’ and right away she captured my vision. However on the day, seeing it all come to life it was more than I could have dreamed. The amount of detail in the floral selections, arrangements, colours was outstanding and obviously put together with a lot of love and passion.
