Every wedding is memorable in it's own way. We undertake a limited number each year and ensure every one is very special.
Natural, relaxed, soft, colourful, fun
The privilege of seeing flowers we have grown become a part of such an important event in people's lives and the lovely comments we receive after the weddings.
It's one day, a very special one indeed but don't overspend, you have the rest of your lives together to plan for and enjoy.
We have supplied wedding flowers that have required just a couple of emails and of course others far more complex! Typical process, keeping it very simple is email enquiry/face to face consultation so we can get to know each other/quotation/acceptance and booking fee/finalise requirements 6 weeks before date/payment/delivery. A single consultation is included in the price. Further visits/consultations may incur an additional charge. If relevant to the time of year, brides are welcome to walk the field, otherwise we have a laptop full of photographs to share.
I was asked if burdock (in flower) could be used in a wedding bouquet - I don't see why not it is very pretty if a little sticky! It hasn't gone in the bouquet yet.
Not really, flowers are personal preference. I can think of some I would not recommend but won't be mentioning those on here!
Violets or snowdrops - so delicate and with such promise of Spring and new growth (not really bouquet materials). Peonies would have to be a favourite, scented, lush and totally gorgeous although such a short season from late May until early July so if you want peonies those are the months to get married.
On the day have containers available in which to display the bouquets and then afterwards take them home - press a few favourites or hang up to dry - a few of our brides have done this. If the right sort of containers are chosen the reception flowers can be given away as wedding favours and it helps to clear the room at the same time.
