My best friend's wedding! After doing her bridal flowers and venue arrangements, it ignited the spark to change career path and focus solely on creating bespoke wedding flowers, to give other couples the wow factor they were after on their special day.
Relaxed, fresh, bright, happy, beautiful!
My amazing couples! We have worked with some of the most wonderful people, who have in turn helped me to make my business into what it is today. So thank you!
Once you have your budget and know roughly what suppliers you would like to book, start your wedding planning timeline so you know when to book each supplier without leaving it too late. We love to use bud vases - they can be used anywhere from the top table to the bar - then afterwards the little bunches can be gifted to your guests as a sweet reminder of the day.
We like to start with an initial, informal consultation, either face-to-face or over video chat, to go over your ideas, colour schemes and overall theme for your wedding day. This is the fun part where we can get really creative and put all those Pinterest ideas to use! Then after sending over an initial quote, if you are happy to proceed, this is when you book to secure your date with us so you have your very own wedding florist! We will go over everything with you, from your venue set up to timings on the day, so everything is finalised 6 weeks before the big day. That way you can concentrate on everything else going on, knowing your flowers will be set up and ready and waiting exactly when you need them. And don't worry about the clearing up either - we've got you covered!
I like to use different herbs. Apart from the fact they smell amazing, so when you're gliding down the aisle guests will remember a beautiful fragrance, they also have lovely meanings that you can treasure. For example, Rosemary symbolises remembrance, love, loyalty and fidelity.
Myrtle is a traditional favourite for weddings, whether in flower or not, it has represented love, fertility and innocence for thousands of years. It has origins in both Greek mythology as well as in Roman ritual, and even today it is a firm favourite for the Royal weddings.
Roses have to be the most romantic flower, cliche or not, throughout history they have become the definitive symbol for romantic feelings and true love. And it doesn't have to be all about the typical red Rose, the varieties available today is incredible, putting the wow factor into any wedding.
Gift them to your guests! Let your family and friends enjoy the flowers for the days to come after your wedding as a reminder of what an amazing day they had with you.
