What is your most memorable wedding?
Every one of our weddings are memorable, we have a great relationship with our couples and each wedding is unique so memorable in different ways. We have a wall of all our thank you cards in the shop which we look at every day.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Adaptable. We love a challenge so we are happy to design flowers for any wedding style. We have done glittered skull table centrepieces, green grapes in bridal bouquets as well as traditional wedding designs. We will work with your ideas, no idea is un do able we just have to adapt it sometimes.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Being able to make brides ideas and pictures come to life on their wedding day, there is no better feeling than seeing a bride carry her dream bouquet down the aisle.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't leave planning until the last minute, give yourself time to get everything just right for your wedding. And don't tell people your budget, most people will match your budget if you tell them even if they come up cheaper.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Handmade Jams and chutney's by the bride and groom as favours for their guests.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We meet and discuss your wedding flowers, we send you a wish list with a price and then we work to get you the most flowers for your budget. Between our first meeting and your wedding we meet several times and make sure everything is right. We then make your wedding flowers and you have the perfect wedding day. After the wedding most couples keep in touch and share pictures of the day.... we love to see pictures!!
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
We have put several interesting things into bouquets, each unique for their meanings to the bride. We have included bunches of green grapes - a family tradition to mini photos - remembering family members that are no longer with the couple.
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
That's entirely up to you, flowers make lovely gifts for people or you can keep the flowers for yourself and enjoy having a house full of flowers.
