I guess that would be a wedding where we created centrepieces inside various drums and brass instruments- the couple met in a brass band!
Romantic, personal, seasonal, fresh, quirky.
I'm proud of knowing that I've made people smile by creating beautiful flowers.
Be sure that your wedding is what you want, not somebody else... Though their intentions may be good, it's a day that is about you and the love of your life and should happen how you want it to.
There was one wedding where the brides grandmother passed away shortly before the wedding day, the couple still had her corsage made and her seat was still there at the ceremony and the wedding breakfast, with her corsage sat on it. It touched us when we were setting up the venue flowers and we still remember it years later.
The typical process... We meet/skype for an initial consultation, following which we create a moodboard and a quote. If this is okay with you you then put down a small "Save the Date" payment and then the process is lead entirely by you- you can have as many meetings/phone calls and emails as you need. Two weeks before the wedding we have a final meeting/call to double check through everything when final payment is then due. We set up on the morning of your wedding (or the night before in venues which specify this!) and then deliver your personal flowers to you generally two hours before your ceremony time.
Oh I've put lots of hidden, secret things in over the years, and secret they shall stay! I've recently put fairy lights into a bouquet though for a bride who really wanted to dazzle!
I will always ask if there is anything specific that means something to you.
The most romantic flower is the one that means the most to you. Whether it's the first flower your other half ever wooed you with or something that has a memory firmly attached to it, everyone's most romantic flower should be personal to them.
Enjoy your bouquet- get it home and get it in water! If you've had table centres, arrange to give them to your loved ones after the party stops, and if someone you love is no longer around possibly pop something on their grave so they feel a part of the wedding and the love that surrounds you as you start married life.
