What I'm All About If i can imagine it, I can create it..... Why Hello There! My name is Chioma Alade and I am Founder & Creative Director of Studio-Chi Design. I was the kid who spent her money on sweets, cupcakes and Vogue. I believe an event worth celebrating should be celebrated well. My passion is using my years of experience working in the bridal industry to create the day of your dreams. Studio-Chi Design House is your one stop wedding and event ingredient. As a Planner, Florist, Designer and Stationer I work intimately with my brides and grooms to create a day uniquely theirs. This is my dream. As an Arts Degree student , fashion crafting and design intern I learned what luxury looked like. How the process occurs and what it feels like. Pursing my design dreams 8 years ago as a graduate wasn't possible. So I worked my other passion. Selling diamonds to the brides I wished I could create for. I worked as a features editor for a bridal magazine, I styled and planned many weddings. I became a celebrated wedding commentator and blogger. In spite of this I was consistently being hired by brides to tell decorators what to do, as brides couldn't quite articulate their elegant fine art dreams to decorators and florists. And decorators were not interpreting in proposals what brides wanted. One day my Father sat me down and said, its time you believe in yourself and your dreams. When I was a bride I was looking for a wedding with feeling, and it seemed like so many vendors were offering the same thing. Packages that were cookie cut and tablescapes I'd seen a hundred times before. Often because the dream look or flowers feel inaccesible.
