What about your business are you most proud of?
Winning Awards from a wide variety of Wedding Sector and Business bodies and growing the business from nothing to the great reputation it now has.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't be steered by people who tell you what you should do or have at your wedding. It is your day, relax and enjoy!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love garden seed favours. Small packet of flower seeds which can be grown in your garden and flower for years to come.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
After an initial discussion to discuss their likes (and dislikes) , colour scheme, vision, favourite flowers etc we will then make suggestions and supply photos if required. For many couples this is a quick process, which can be completed by phone or email. However, we can also offer a personal, local consultation to show samples of flowers and colours etc.
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
We made a bouquet for a client in Canada who had chosen 10 specific flowers for their meaning. It was quite a challenge, as some of the flowers were not flowers you would normally put together. However, I am proud to say we achieved this by using different varieties of the flowers and the final bouquet was gorgeous and unique.
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
Roses symbolise love and good fortune and are still a firm favourite for many brides.
What is the most romantic flower and why?
Red Rose for Love and Passion, but my personal favourite would be Sweet Pea (delicate pleasures!)
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
Silk flowers can be kept after the wedding, just as they are. Put your bouquet in a vase in the bedroom as a reminder of your special day. Give centrepieces to your family or friends as a momento for them and a lovely arrangement for their home.
