Nestled in a charming family cottage in Wickham, Sarah Guild Floral Design specializes in creating unique, personal floral arrangements tailored just for your wedding day. With a lifelong love of nature and the seasons, Sarah designs stunning bouquets and decorations that not only look breathtaking but also fill the air with natural fragrance. Her passion for flowers began in childhood, picking sweet peas with her family—a memory that continues to inspire every arrangement she creates.
What started as a “genuine lightbulb moment” led Sarah to build a floral business grounded in passion, creativity, and a sharp eye for colour and detail. For her, wedding floristry is more than a job—it’s about crafting the perfect colour palette and bringing your unique vision to life.
Every wedding is one of a kind, and Sarah works closely with couples to develop a floral design that truly reflects their style and story. Whether you have a clear idea or need expert guidance, she’s there to make your flowers unforgettable. This might mean sourcing flowers that hold special meaning or hand-dyeing silk ribbons to match your colour scheme perfectly.
Couples consistently praise Sarah for her thoughtful, kind, and talented approach, highlighting her ability to capture their vision with precision and care.
Sarah Guild Floral Design offers a full range of wedding floral services, ensuring every detail is beautifully covered. Her offerings include:
Beyond fresh flowers, Sarah also provides stylish prop and vase rentals, candles, and dried petal confetti to add that extra special touch. Each bouquet and buttonhole is finished with handmade silk or bamboo ribbons, adding a bespoke, luxurious feel.
Sustainability is at the heart of Sarah’s work. She avoids floral foam and plastic wraps, composts all green waste, and encourages couples to share their flowers with guests after the celebration—extending the joy and beauty of your wedding day.
This eco-friendly approach reflects Sarah’s deep respect for nature and her commitment to creating wedding flowers that are as responsible as they are inspiring.
Every wedding is completely unique, they all have their own flower recipe too :-)
Beautiful, Creative, Seasonal, Natural, & Unique.
My clients - I feel so grateful to meet so many wonderful people though my work.
Make it your own and enjoy the process as much as you can. Book suppliers who you feel really comfortable and happy with. They're form a team to make you and your day feel completely your own.
I have a small cutting patch for flowers in my garden, and I love adding a handful of stems to make each clients 'recipe' unique. I learnt calligraphy to label buttonholes and bouquets.
We begin the process with a conversation about plans for your day and how you'd like it to be. I'll ask if there are any flowers, colours or styles you have in mind and then make suggestions via a mood board or on the phone. Ideally we'd meet in real life. I'll cost up the day as an estimate. If you'd like to book, then I ask for deposit and signature of the terms of conditions.
English flowers, they capture a fleeting moment in a season.
I often get asked to add a memory locket, special broach or particular stem to remember someone.
Each couple and their flowers are unique - I tend to reccommend seasonal flowers that I think will fit each couples brief.
All flowers are romantic to me!
Gift them to your guests, so people can enjoy your day for longer. I'm always happy to make suggestions for ways to preserve them too.
