PickleBerry was born out of a love for weddings, changing seasons and foraging for green goods around the rolling Leicestershire/Rutland countryside. It was also the fact that Isobel was brought up around flowers as the family had a flower shop!
So Isobel started her floral adventure from a little girl, being obsessed with daisy chains, foxglove finger hats and making fairy wands from the inside of periwinkles but became professional trained in 2013 and qualified as a teacher of floristry in 2015.
The flowers come from the Pickleberry patch at home, local growers such as ‘Keythorpe Walled Garden’ & local markets.
Specific requirements will be ordered in from the Dutch Wholesalers.
All foliage comes from the patch, if possible!
The patch (depending on season!) grows white, blue & pink nigella, dahlias, alliums, icelandic poppies, lupins, honesty, clematis, hydrangea, cosmos, foxglove, phlox, scabiosa, sweet peas, blackberries, wine berries & eucalyptus.
"We love a loose and romantic style meets country cottage garden feel. So expect a herby scent, trailing ivy and seasonal filler flower picks from the patch" says Isobel.
