All weddings are memorable! We love the story of every couple we meet, and have had the privilege to deliver our floristry in some beautiful places for beautiful people, not to mention an adorable dog and even an alpaca.
Organic, deliberate, limitless, bespoke, luxury
Norris Floristry was born in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, an urge to get out of a corporate rat-race and back to what I trained in and love the most. It has proven to be a proud moment as our business is literally blooming!
Focus on what's important such as venue, food, flowers, photographer. The key aspects that make the day special and feature in all your photographic memories for years to come. There are so many unnecessary novelties and extras you can be dazzled by, which, whilst cute may not add much to your day and drain money and time that you may not have.
We loved seeing the name of the bride and groom and wedding date embroidered beautifully on the hem of the bride's dress. A subtle symbol of commitment even before the vows were exchanged.
We offer a free consultation, so that we can get to know the couple (beyond a standard list of questions) and explore the dreams and aims they have for their big day. From that we can create a quote, and if we are hired, then we create a presentation of what we will look to produce for the wedding.
Too many to mention. We have been asked to use everything from bottles of wine to fly swatters, and we always welcome the challenge.
In our opinion this isn't a great question, as all flowers have symbolism. Folklore, botanical history, national and regional identities are amongst many symbolic themes, but most importantly the flowers we recommend should always be unique to the couple. There are always blooms which have personal meaning or tie into the season, venue or style of wedding.
Similarly to the last question, all flowers are romantic and one bloom is no more romantic than any other. Good floristry is so much more than simply relying on the flowers to do the work. We create love stories through the way we compose our floristry, selecting the best combination of blooms and natural materials to reflect the character and affection of the happy couple.
Our flowers are always bought and conditioned to perform perfectly on the day. This means that our floristry is ideal for giving to guests as gifts, or simply taking home to enjoy and make the wedding day feeling last longer. You can of course have arrangements dried, which is increasingly popular.
