Can I actually pick just 1?! My most memorable weddings are those where we get to know the bride & groom really well, where we can chat to them & have a giggle, where they trust me to make decisions and I feel able to help with ideas to make their days even more amazing! Those bride & grooms are also the ones I miss the most once their amazing wedding days are over! But what a perfect day?!
Floral, romantic, luxury, stunning
Our brides always tell us how easy going and relaxed we are in our approach to weddings. Nothings ever a problem! We are always here to talk things through, to help & support you. We’ve made some great and lasting friendships over the years.
Don’t stress about the little things! Everything falls into place perfectly, trust us!
Your own vows, the perfect words to say to eachother
I usually receive an email asking for information and prices - we then ask you to fill in our wedding quote form online, we use this to check date availability and get back to you with a full accurate quote - after this stage we usually exchange a few emails discussing different ideas/styles to suit the wedding/budget and then if you are happy to book in we take your deposit and all the details. we usually receive emails throughout the planning with information from the bride of alterations/additions etc... - we have a really good catch up and final consultation in person around 8 weeks before the wedding, again to go through everything properly, as some of our brides book years in advance this also helps to refresh the entire wedding theme/ideas. - there’s usually emails/phone calls in the few days before the wedding, often frantically adding odd chair covers & button holes for extra guests :-) - there’s usually a sneak peek preview of the flowers the night before the wedding - a huge hug on the wedding morning for our gorgeous bride and the final few hours are upon us!! Your beautiful flowers are brought to you, your chairs covered, centrepieces set out and we’re ready to say bye! (We’ve often asisted with a few button holes and chatted to some wedding guests, We’ve even been known to iron shirts before!!) then off you go down the aisle to marry the love of your life with your family and friends by your side!!
Wedding bouquets - Ashes & memory charms are often included in bouquets and are such a beautiful, thoughtful idea.
Gift Bouquets - an engagement ring and also the keys to a car!!
Flower choices in all cases should reflect you, your personality, your wedding theme & of course include your favourites (should the season allow) never go with the “norm” if your quirky, don’t have “roses” if you don’t like them, don’t put modern “gerberas” in a rustic styled bouquet, ask your florist to suggest flowers to suit your theme, colours and season. if you don’t like it - don’t use it! I always ask my brides if they have any favourite flowers but most importantly when I’m given a “any types of flowers but our colours” I always always ask if there’s anything the couple don’t like!
I suppose it’s any flowers your partner has ever given you! That’s “your” romantic flowers, perhaps it’s one you could find a way of including in your wedding flowers. For me I love beautiful blousy peonies & roses, I also hugely appreciate seasonal flowers! I love to see ranunculus in spring & the change of the hydrangea colours over the autumn.
Many brides preserve their bouquets, lots leave flowers on graves of loved ones and you can also dry/press flowers to keep.
