What about your business are you most proud of?
That I am a sustainable florist and work closely with local growers (small/medium businesses) so trying to consider the impact of floristry on the environment. That I work closely with my couples and each wedding is bespoke.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Set yourself a budget for all areas of your wedding. For flowers it is often more impactful to have one statement piece that can be repurposed through the day than lots of little ones. It creates a ‘look’
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I loved that at one wedding a Grooms father had passed away the previous few months (if the wedding had gone ahead as planned in 2020 he would have been there) the Couple left a seat spare at the top table and placed a white Rose at his setting.

No not one…there are lots that go through the year. I love a flower that has a poignant name like

Obviously these are only available at certain times of the year so it depends when you are getting married.
What is the most romantic flower and why?
There are a few I love
The peony - because of its endless petals
And fragrance
A garden rose that also has endless petals that ruffle and I always choose a rose that has a scent.
I love a bouquet to smell fragrant…so in time when you catch the scent again you are swept back to your wedding day.
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
I would always encourage my couples to strip the displays and add them to vases at home. Even share them out with guests. What better way is there to extend the wedding day vibe?
