A 30-something, slightly tattooed lover of all things floral!
Hailing originally from Scotland, I've been living in England since I was around 2 years old so have completely lost the accent but have managed to keep the red hair and translucent skin. I've set up base in the West Midlands and currently work from my home studio.
I began my love affair with flowers at the age of 13 working on a market stall on Saturdays. After a few years venturing down the path of working in offices and becoming a very good receptionist, I decided to launch Love Flowers in 2010. I took myself to college to refresh my knowledge and left fully qualified with a City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Floristry.
I started with a small flower shop, opened it right in the heart of a recession (fabulous idea, right?) and that was my life for 4 years. When the time came to make the decision to close the doors, I knew I didn't want to give up on my dream of working with flowers, I knew I just had to re-jig how I did it.
So here we are! Weddings and events (with the odd bouquet thrown in for my friends). I can't explain to you how lucky and grateful I am to be able to do my job. Sometimes I need to pinch myself.
I love getting to know my customers, I get super excited to hear all of your wedding ideas! One of my favourite parts of weddings is actually delivering your items and being able to see all your ideas in person around your venue, and I always feel privileged to get a peek before your guests.
Flowers aren't my only passion. I love music and attending gigs/festivals is one of my favourite things to do. I am also a big rugby fan but never had the bottle to actually play. Love all things Disney!
I also like the slightly odd and out there, if it's a bit different, it's probably right up my street.
Oh, and Dinosaurs. I like Dinosaurs. It all started with a magazine when I was 7 and you collected parts to create a glow in the dark Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton...it coincided
