When planning your budget prioritize what is most important to you, don't be influenced by other peoples thoughts. If you love it go with it!
Starting with a relaxed consultation at my studio, we’ll have a chat about the plans for your big day. We’ll look at colours, textures and adornments together to build up a moodboard of seasonal flowers that sum up your style.
It’s important for me to get to know your venue, to look at the spaces available and visualize how each area can be transformed with flowers and foliage. We’ll arrange a venue visit together, and bounce lots of ideas around.
Now comes the (even more) fun bit. A moodboard of colours and styles is all well and good, but flowers are such tactile, sensory things that I like my couples to come with me to New Covent Garden Flower Market to really get a sense of how our ideas will come to life. This is one of my favourite places in the world – a riot of colour, perfume and petals. I challenge anyone to leave there not feeling inspired!
On the day…
When your wedding day arrives I’ll be there at the venue, setting up the flowers and delivering your bouquets. It’s a total privilege to be involved in the happiest day of your life, and once every last tendril and blossom is arranged perfectly, I always make myself available to help out however I can. I’ll make the tea, tie the bowties, calm any nerves and generally be on hand to help your day go smoothly.
Each of my bouquets are completely unique. I’m passionate about sourcing beautiful flowers and turning them into colourful, sculptural and fragrant works of art. Using foliage, berries and herbs as well as blooms, grown in the UK whenever possible.
I would recommend that a bride chooses the flowers they love!
I always leave all the flowers for the couple after the wedding for them to take away.
