A wedding I did in May, the Bride wanted 100% British flowers and floral decorations everywhere. It was a dream - working with the seasons, creating beautiful British floral installations and the flowers available in May are just beautiful too!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make lots of lists. I find this is the best method in planning. Ticking everything off that you have done as you go and that way you won’t forget any key things.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Homemade wedding favours on the table settings. This particular couple made strawberry jam. Put it in mini jars and labelled it ‘Spread the Love’. Lovely touch I thought.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
After an initial enquiry, I would suggest to meet up and discuss your flowers, colour scheme, venue etc. I would then work on a quote for you and this would be changed until the couple are happy with everything stated on there, including sticking to a budget. A deposit is needed to secure your wedding date and then any changes can be discussed at any further meetings.
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
Each flower has its own meaning, and they are all special in their own ways.
What is the most romantic flower and why?
The English Garden Rose is so Romantic with its irregular petals and stunning scent.
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
Re-cut all the stems and put straight in water, this will revive them. Also getting them preserved is a lovely thing to do.
