What is your most memorable wedding?
Last year when I surprised my special bride Anna with a martini glass arrangement as she only had a set budget and I wanted her cake table to have something on it to look nice.
Her face lit up when she saw it and I got the biggest hug ever.

What about your business are you most proud of?
That we are still going in the current climate and I went back to college to do my Diploma in Floristry last year and passed. Another certificate to add to the others.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
To buy only what you need for your special day.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A large vase arrangement filled with roses I supplied for a wedding and at the end of the night each guest was given a rose to take home. So sweet.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Sitting down with a cup of tea or wine and asking them the date of wedding, location of church and reception venue, any special colour schemes or themes they have.
I also show them different flower types and look at their pictures and give advice on styles of bouquet and venue arrangements.
Also, how many bridesmaids and in the groom party together with the number of guests at wedding.
Importantly, we discuss the cost and budget for the flowers and they can pay a deposit. I make notes as I go along and when completed I fill out an order form and let the couple check and agree terms and conditions and then they sign to confirm they are happy with their order.

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
Roses but all flowers are beautiful.
What is the most romantic flower and why?
Roses as they give a romantic look and feel.
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
Give them to guests and friends or donate them to a hospice as it's a waste to throw away.
