As all our wedding florals are designed bespoke for each of our couples, pricing will vary depending on the number of floral design elements you choose, the size of each of these elements and the types of flowers used within them.

In The Meadow Full Description
We are passionate about working sustainably with British flowers through the British growing season and work closely with a number of flower farmers within the Lake District, who work with Mother Nature, to produce beautiful, environmentally-friendly blooms. The strong relationship that we have built with these flower farmers, allows us to bring you as many British, locally grown flowers as possible.
These flowers are cut by the flower farmers just before your event, and then conditioned and lovingly arranged by us, using sustainable methods. This means you will never find any floral foam or single use plastics within our designs. Alternatively, we use a combination of moss, chicken wire and reusable vessels to arrange our flowers.

Describe your typical process with a couple.
Once we have received your enquiry, we will be in touch to arrange an initial consultation, either face to face or via zoom. During the initial consultation, we will talk through everything from colour palettes, floral choices, seasonality and any specific requirements you may have for your wedding florals. We love getting to know you during this consultation too! This allows us to better understand your interests, inspirations and the things you both love, and from there, create a really personal design proposal for your wedding day.
Following the initial consultation, we will send an initial design proposal and costing. If you are happy to proceed, you will need to secure your booking with a deposit.
Once your deposit has been received, we will then begin working on a detailed, floral proposal and mood board. When this is complete, this will be shared with you so that you can see your floral designs and discuss any final tweaks that you would like to make.
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
Lots of lovely autumnal berries and dried poppy heads
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
Any flower that holds meaning for you! Be that because it evokes a particular memory of either a person, place or event, or that you just love it!
What is the most romantic flower and why?
I think, when being used in a wedding arrangement, it's hard for any flower to not be romantic!
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
I highly recommend saving a few from your bouquet or buttonhole and either drying them (by hanging them upside down in a warm, dry space, away from windows or radiators) or pressing them, so that you can have them as a precious keepsake. If you like this idea but aren't confident doing this yourself, there are lots of companies out there now that can do this for you - but make sure you've organised this well before your big day as you'll need to send them off ASAP.
