A lot of my business comes from referrals and word of mouth. I've worked hard to build my reputation and it's great to know people love my arrangements as much as I love creating them.
Have an idea of your overall style, and gather as many images of this style as you can find. Also, be open with you florist regarding your budget so they can work to get the very best for you.
I loved a bride had put together a basket of flip-flops at a summer wedding and a sign that read "when your feet are tired and sore, grab a pair and dance some more!" This could equally work with slippers in the winter. Sometimes it really is the little touches that are remembered the most!
Usually my brides contact me via email detailing the types of arrangements they are looking for. I then create a bespoke proposal and arrange a consultation in person to discuss the details of the wedding. We'll also go through a personalised Pinterest Board so you have a more visual idea of the types of flowers we could use and how they would look in the various arrangements. We'd finalise your flowers around 8 weeks before your wedding date, so don't worry if you've had second thoughts about flowers we spoke about 12 months previously!
This is a very individual question based on what each flower means to each person.
Again, this is entirely up to the wedding party. I've known brides in the past give table arrangements as gifts to the wedding party to take home, have them preserved, or left on loved ones graves in memory.
