Meet your florist face to face, you need to like and trust your suppliers.Be honest about your budget and consider moveable Arrangements.
We had a bride last year who dried petals from every bunch of flowers she received in the two years running up to the wedding and used this as her confetti. Flowers from birthdays, loved ones funerals, anniversary’s , all their special moments at their special day.
We have an initial consultation to discuss colour palettes, flower varieties, style, arrangement placement etc from here we send a proposal with estimated quote. This is tweaked and changed via emails or a second meeting. When you are 100% happy with your quote a £100 fee is charged to hold your date and cover further meetings, design etc and T’s and C’s are signed. We have a final meeting one month before your wedding to go over logistics and delivery. We work with couples as often as they wish and can even visit the venue with them.
Paper flowers made from sheet music for a very musical couple.
No, flower preference is completely individual and also can be effected by season. That’s like advising someone what their favourite colour should be. Flowers are so personal. For example i love lilies because my Grandad used to grow them when i was a little girl so they have significance to me.
I don’t think theres just one although a favourite of ours used to soften any arrangement and give it a more romantic vibe would be a double lisianthus. Or a garden rose, or peony or blossom, or………..
There are so many ways to preserve you flowers now. I love to see them preserved in resin. We offer a service where we bunch up your flowers as we dismantle them at the venue the day after the wedding so if you are staying on site all your guests can take home a bunch of your wedding florals.
