Flowers of Foxhall Full Description
Here at Flowers of Foxhall we love colour texture and scent. We use the freshest flowers of the season sourced from our trusted local growers and overseas suppliers. We undertake only one wedding per week. This ensures you get all our time and attention. No stress or rush. We help you clarify your ideas as we understand it can be an overwhelming process choosing colours and designs that are just perfect for you. Although we love fresh flowers, did you know we have a gorgeous range of faux flower centrepieces for hire too.. for that luxury look without the luxury budget. Have a look at our photos and see if you can tell which are which. We specialise in tablescapes. Woodland, coastal, vintage or Boho. I love to bring all the elements together to create a really personal and beautiful setting. We have many years experience as a florist. Since training at the Welsh College of Horticulture Diana has worked for several London florists, spent 3 years as the in house florist for The Landmark Hotel in Marylebone and after a short break to have children and a move to Kent, 7 years working for a busy wedding and event company. Here she worked on hundreds of weddings in many beautiful Kent wedding venues.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

It has to be a wedding at The Ferry House Inn. I’d never been before and the drive seemed to take forever. When I arrived I was so surprised at how beautifully isolated it was. The atmosphere is unique. I’m always hoping for another wedding there.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Wild garden textured beautiful colours

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

If you see a florist whose work you love then book them... especially at the moment With so many weddings postponed from last year until later on this year and into 2022, dates will get booked quickly. Choose a style that you love.. don’t be too influenced by current trends if it just doesn’t feel right.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I just love it when couples invite their dogs to their weddings.. floral collars are so pretty and look great in the photos x

Describe your typical process with a couple.

When a couple contacts Flowers of Foxhall I like to have an initial chat to find out all about them. From there we may book a face to face or an online consultation to talk over all the details. A detailed quote is then sent. If agreed a deposit is paid to secure the date and then the planning begins. We would have a final meeting about a month before the wedding to finalise any last minute changes. Of course the couple can contact me as often as they wish in the intervening time if they have any questions or requests x

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

I think it has to be Lego men in little cages!! But one of my favourites was a bouquet made entirely out of shells and driftwood for a couple getting married on the beach at Whitstable.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

A beautiful garden rose. The frilly petals, the gorgeous subtle colours and the scent.

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

Definitely give table arrangements to family and friends to take home. If you’ve used plants pop them in your garden and they’ll always remind you of your wedding day. If you keep your bridal bouquet in water after the ceremony you could press a few of the petals between the pages of a heavy book.
