What is your most memorable wedding?
One of our most memorable weddings was creating tropical designs for a couple getting married in a tipi. They had two moongates for their ceremony, covered in tropical leaves and fresh pineapples filled with tropical blooms for their table decorations. Not forgettting the large rowing boat outside filled with ice and beer, it was a colourful, chilled out day and they made it exactly how they wanted.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Wild, natural, organic, luxury and unique
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Throw away the rule book! Weddings come in all shapes and sizes these days. When it comes to your flowers in particular don't get caught up on making sure you x, y and z designs. There are no real rules. If you want one large installation and no bouquets, then you can have it! It is your wedding and up to you how you style your day.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One of our most favourite which we have seen a few times, is when the bride wants a picture of a loved one who can't be with them on their day tied to the handle of their bouquet. You will be holding your bouquet as you walk down the aisle and near to you when saying your vows so it's a lovely way of having them extra close to you on the day. We have also tied mini photos to buttonholes for the gents also, visible or hidden for them.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We have a simple and easy process to ordering your wedding flowers with us.
- First get in touch, we will check your date and then send over a wedding questionnaire. Here you can you can tell us your ideas and details for your wedding flowers.
- After a consultation in person or over the phone, we pull together all the ideas from the questionnaire and send you a proposal and design board that best suits your venue, style and budget.
-Once we are part of your wedding team you can get in contact as much as you need in the run up to your wedding day.
-A final consultation 6 weeks prior to the day, where we will finalise all designs and logisitcs and any changes that may be needed.
-Relax and enjoy your day! We will be delivering your bouquets and setting up any designs on site.

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
Vegetables! We had a bride who was a Nutritionist with a love of veggies who wanted to add something different to her bouquet. We designed the bouquet around artichokes, brassicas (cabbages on stems), alliums, rosemary and dill and complimented the veggies with delicate flowers and berried foliages. Not a design for everyone but as with all our weddings it was completely bespoke for her and she loved it.
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
Each couple may have a certain bloom that is symbolic to them. Maybe a loved one grew Peonies in their garden or your Nan always had cut Freesia in a vase when you visited her. Even though there are symbols around flowers I think the ones that matter the most are the ones that bring memories to you.
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
You can take all the flowers home, give them away as gifts or donate them to a local charity or care home.
