The most memorable wedding to date was one that we have done at Stanwick Hotel For some close friends. we used the whole space provided to bring the venue to life from the archway at the top of the aisle to a moon arch for photos.
Original, Young, Creative, Experimental, Flowing.
In essence I am most proud of the achievement of owning a shop and running a thriving florist at such a young age. it is motivating me to offer the best experience I can to my customers.
the number one tip for Wedding Planning is relax. Don't rush and compromise what you want. it's your special day so have the day you want and don't settle for less.
My personal favourite touch is seeing the couple install there passions into the wedding, whether this be football teams or naming the tables with dates or memory's they have had.
The process we take for engaging with our couples is to arrange a in person or phone call conversation to see what they would like and what we can offer, we then send a follow up email with rough prices and what was discussed. if the couple then wish to proceed we then send them the deposit invoice to secure there booking. we then have another discussion nearer the time of the wedding to finalise the plans. we then call a few days before the wedding to put your ease at mind to confirm the plans for the magical day.
Its more angelic then interesting but we have put keepsakes of someone's late mum in there bridesmaid bouquet.
I would never force a couple to go down a route of a set flower. I will always try to offer something sentimental to them, for example there is a rose that's called memory lane, so if they were having a very sentinel Wedding I would offer that rose.
The most romantic flower is foliage. it's an odd choice but it free flowing and bold statements are something that everyone can reflect with rather then going with something very popular and over rated.
There are many articles out there with what you should do with your flowers but it all depends on when your honeymoon is and what area you are in. there's no right or wrong answer but what we do suggest is make a occasion like Valentines Day more romantic and rather then giving them roses give them the flowers you had for the wedding.
