Describe your typical process with a couple.
Initial enquiry by email, after checking my availability I will send over rough details & approximate prices as a guideline. Or customer will pop into the shop for a No Obligation Consultation if unsure of ideas, for a chat & some inspiration! If customers are happy to go ahead I will book them in with a small deposit. Then a final meeting is scheduled 6 weeks before the wedding to confirm final details.
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
A Succulent Plant! And it looked amazing!
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
Roses - Each colour has a different symbol which could relate to them. For example white rose Humility & Passion, Red rose enduring passion....
What is the most romantic flower and why?
That is a personal choice but I love Roses as they are beautiful & come in many styles & colours. A focal flower used for Weddings for years!
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
Keep your Bouquets in water throughout the day where possible as they will last for around a week! Some customers lay them on graves following the wedding & some have them dried to keep. Table Centres are often given away as gifts
