Em'z Flower Boutique Full Description
Hi there, Emily speaking here! I am a Wedding & Events Florist based in Sherwood, Nottingham. My workshop is at 3A Spondon Street, Sherwood NG5 4AB where i have my meetings, consultations and where i create wedding flowers. I cover Nottingham, Derby and Leicester. I have a large portfolio of wedding flowers which is available to see on my website on the wedding flowers page. I can create all styles of wedding flowers to help compliment your big day and also represent the personalities of the bride and groom. I think flowers are a really big part of the decoration for your wedding day and really set the scene of any wedding. I love a challenge and to step out the box so if you're wanting something that's different and bespoke i create something for you or make your own ideas come to life. When choosing your wedding flowers, whether you know what you want already or need a bit of guidance choosing flowers i can help you and suggest flowers i think you'd like and also to match the style/theme you're wanting. I am available to contact 24/7 via phone, email and messages on my facebook page. If you would like to meet up for a free consultation or a appointment at my workshop for a quote then please contact me and we can arrange a date and time to your convenience!

She cares deeply for her work

Emily worked on a wedding cake design with me and created the most beautiful cake skirt. She cares deeply for her work and produces high quality work for her clients.

Thank you so much!

I booked Emily to do the flowers for our wedding over two years ago now. On first meeting Emily she was so encouraging of all of our ideas and gave us plenty of options to choose from in order to achieve what we wanted whilst keeping the cost to what was in our budget. When our wedding had to be postponed for a year she kept us updated and was really accomadating with any changes to details or venues we asked for even close up to the wedding!

amazing work.

Emily created our bridal party and table flowers for our wedding and she absolutely nailed it. I provided some photos of what I was looking for and Emily delivered exactly what I envisioned. All of the flowers were in perfect condition and lasted beautifully - amazing work.

She did an absolutely amazing job

Emily did the flowers for our wedding on May 1st this year. She did an absolutely amazing job and was so professional and a lovely lady! I would 100% recommend her and her services. I loved my flower crown, all the bouquets and the flowers outside the church were incredible too!

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

I don't have 1 most memorable wedding i would say i have top 5 most memorable weddings! Too many to choose from.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Natural, Textured, Colourful, Botanical and Wild.

What about your business are you most proud of?

As the years have gone by i have had the pleasure of creating wedding flowers for some larger scaled weddings, the achievement of making and designing the flowers for these big scale weddings i would have to say i most proud of.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Prioritise and figure out budgets but every aspect of your wedding.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I would have to say hand written guest names on cookies as favours!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Step 1: Bride & Groom will get in contact by phone or email. Step 2: Discussion of flowers for their big day either by email (depending if they know what flowers and designs they want) or by meeting. Step 3: I work out a quote, if their wedding day is more then a year away then the quote will be estimated quote and then revised when its a year away and then will become a fixed quote. Step 4: Deposit is worked out by 25% of the total. I take up to 2 weddings a day depending on the size of weddings so if you want to book me, putting a deposit down will secure your day with me and you won't have to worry about anyone else booking the same date as yours. Step 5: Once deposit is paid receipt will be sent by email. Constant communication is welcomed as sometimes things change in numbers or a couple might see another flower that they think they want to add to their own wedding flowers. Step 6: Any new designs that a couple want will be quoted and then confirmed and added to invoice. Step 7: Future meetings, i offer as many as you like. The normal amount is between 1-3 meetings over a year. This of course all depends how far away couples live, convenience and schedule. Step 8: The final balance is due 1 month before your wedding day and any final changes i advise to make now. Step 9: I design your wedding flowers and you either collect them from my workshop or i deliver and set up and you enjoy their beautifulness!!

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

I think a mini pineapple would have to be the most interesting!

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

Depends on the bride and what auro she wants to show from her wedding flowers.

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

Depending if you go on honeymoon straight after, if you don't then take them home and enjoy them for longer! If you're going on honeymoon straight after then give them away to family and friends who attended the wedding and let them take them home at nice ! There is always the option to give them to charity or even care homes were they will be mostly appreciated and admired.
