Planning your wedding is full of beautiful moments—and your bouquet is one of the most special keepsakes from your big day. Based in Cheltenham, E&F Flower Preservation offers a unique way to preserve those precious blooms. Using expert floral resin techniques, they transform your wedding bouquet into timeless art you can cherish forever. It’s a meaningful option for couples who want to hold onto their wedding memories in a truly personal way.
Led by floral resin artist Lorna, E&F Flower Preservation accepts bouquets from couples across the UK. The process begins by carefully drying your flowers, then encasing them in high-quality resin to create stunning keepsakes. Keep in mind, the drying and preservation can slightly change the flowers’ colour and shape, making each piece uniquely beautiful.
While E&F Flower Preservation isn’t a traditional wedding florist providing ceremony or reception arrangements, their service offers a heartfelt way to give your wedding flowers a new life. Preserve your bouquet as a beautiful, lasting reminder of your special day—something you’ll treasure for years to come.
I preserved a stunning bouquet from a local bride last year. The flowers were home grown by the mother of the bride, and then put together by a local florist, and the final piece came out absolutely beautiful.
I built up Elderflower & Fern by myself, and I'm so proud to have helped so many brides preserve their gorgeous bouquets. I take every order so seriously and put a bit of myself into every piece I make. Seeing the finished pieces in their new homes makes me so so proud.
Don't leave anything to the last minute!
Some of my brides include charms or pins in their bouquets, and it's lovely to include those sentimental items within the preserved pieces.
The first step is to get in touch and discuss whether I have availability for your wedding date. I need the flowers within 1-2 days after the wedding, and take on a limited number of bouquets each week. Once we've confirmed availability, couples will need to book in their date by paying a small deposit. They will then be sent a full information pack which outlines the whole process in detail, including shipping instructions for sending the flowers to me after the wedding. Once I have the flowers, I set them aside to dry for 1-2 months, and then a final invoice is sent to the couple.
Some flowers preserve better than others! I'd recommend roses, ranunculus, dahlias and anemones, but I do have experience working with most flowers. The best preservation pieces are those that have lots of dimension, so don't be afraid to include foliage such as eucalyptus leaves, stocks and gypsophila.
Keep them in a vase of fresh water, and then post them to me or drop them off within 1-2 days after the wedding. Most weddings are on Saturdays, and I recommend sending the flowers on Monday with next day delivery.
Another tip is to NOT toss the bouquet during the wedding! This can really damage your flowers. I'd recommend tossing either a bridesmaid bouquet or garter instead.
