Our team! Being predominately family and such a tight knit group, we work so closely together and really enjoy what we do. I'm so glad I have my sidekick (niece) and my daughter working with me on every wedding we do.
Book the date! Whether this is with your florist, your venue, your hairdressers etc, booking the date tends to be the most important part. If you already know which suppliers you'd like to use, secure that date in their advised time frame (for us, it's 8 - 12 months) and leave the final details until much later in your planning. So many things can change your scheme and colour scheme, but your main suppliers will be able to assist and advise with this at a later date. The last thing you want is going to see your chosen supplier, to find out they're already booked.
I wouldn't recommend any specific flower for a Bride as every bouquet we create is completely bespoke to suit the couple and their chosen wedding style.
We always try to advise couples who have handtied bouquets (not wired or in a holder) to put the bouquets in water as soon as they've finished holding them. These can then be used throughout their reception as decoration and can go back to their accommodation after - The flowers will keep opening once back in water.
We also tend to advise that couples give table flowers arrangements away as gifts to family members/friends to get a second use (often couples will purchase the glassware so that the gifts can be a forever memory of the big day).
