Katrina is passionate about flowers and the art of floristry and qualified with Distinction in Floristry from Writtle University College. She is a studio based floral designer where floristry is part of her day to day, every day! Katrina has worked extensively within the events, catering and hospitality industries in London, Essex, Suffolk & Spain. She is able to see your wedding or event from every perspective. As an experienced award-winning event stylist and a creative floral designer, she is able to concentrate on the detail and focus on the wow factor. Serving venues across East Anglia, London and further a field, Cloud Hill Flowers professionalism and creativity have earned praise from countless couples. What is your most memorable wedding?
Creating bespoke florals for a bride from Australia with florals originating from Australia!!! It was incredible, so unique and made her so emotional as it was a little bit from home, when not all her family could be there. It was so lovely and a very memorable wedding for us

We design tailor made, meaningful floral creations just for you, delivering a truly personal experience. Being able to create something totally bespoke designs for each couple is truly fantastic.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Enjoy it!! Have fun with your process, plan ahead, doing as much of the wedding planning together as you can :)
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
We love the old traditions and new ones but my favourite was a bride singing a surprise track with the band for her groom, amazing!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
At your initial consultation, we will discuss your vision and floral requirements. We will then go away and create a quotation of fabulous floral designs using seasonal flowers. Using our extensive floral knowledge, we will produce creative, stylish, tailor made floral designs for your wedding; we never make the same design twice, as no brief is ever the same. All our weddings are executed with careful planning, research, sustainability consciousness and innovative floristry.
Each wedding is different and prices vary depending on the type of flowers, types of arrangements, venue suitability, the time of year and the overall size of the wedding & guest list.
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
Grandmothers pin & golf balls!
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
Avalanche Roses, every type/ shade has a different meaning. There are traditional choices but more contemporary varieties now available in dusty colours that are beautiful.
What is the most romantic flower and why?
Orchids as they represent love and beauty and are just so beautiful. I also love a Dahlia & Ranunculus they are my favourite flowers!
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
We love a lasting memory so wherever possible we love the idea of preserving the flowers of your wedding. We endeavour to use florals that dry well so that you couples have the choice what they would like to do with them after the wedding.
