Nestled on the rugged North Cornish coast, Blossom and Kelp is a floral design studio that specializes in creating natural, creative arrangements tailored for weddings. If you’re a couple looking for wedding flowers that truly reflect your unique love story and personality, their wildly romantic style is a perfect fit.
Lead designer Rachel draws inspiration from the changing seasons and the stunning local landscape. With a background in illustration and design, she approaches floristry like painting—with flowers as her palette. This artistic touch shines through in her arrangements, which beautifully blend colors and textures using grasses, seed heads, berries, and exquisite blooms.
Sustainability is at the heart of Blossom and Kelp’s philosophy. They prioritize sourcing flowers from carefully selected local Cornish growers who share their commitment to environmentally friendly practices. This means your wedding flowers will be fresh, seasonal, and breathtakingly beautiful.
Choosing locally grown blooms not only supports sustainable floristry but also helps reduce the environmental impact of your wedding flowers—something many modern couples value deeply.
Blossom and Kelp offers a truly personal service, working closely with you to bring your floral vision to life. They love hearing about your ideas, color preferences, and any flowers that hold special meaning for you.

Let your florist know your budget from the start. They will be able to tailor your arrangements and create something special within your budget. Don't be afraid to ask for advice and if you want something crazy and outside the box, please ask. I love inventing and creating!!
It all starts with an enquiry, either by e-mail, telephone, social media or face to face. I will let you know a bit about me, my style and send over an approximate price list and answer any initial questions you might have. After that, we can get together for a face to face meeting at your venue. I always like to meet at the venue, as you get a better idea of the sort of arrangements/style you are looking for. It also helps to get the creative juices flowing! I will then draw up a quote and mood board with your colour palette, ideas, textures and styles. You are also very welcome to share your pinterest board with me!
Seaweed! Honestly... it looked stunning.
Anything you like! Preserve them, let guest take them or send them to relatives who were unable to make your wedding.
