Gorgeous flowers!

Sheree did all of our flowers for our December 2024 wedding, including bouquets, table arrangements, cake decorations, and petal confetti. We absolutely cannot recommend Sheree highly enough! She was lovely to work with, from when we first met her right up to the big day. Always really responsive with texts / emails, and happy to take our ideas and run with them! We had so many compliments on all of our florals, and so many people asking to take them home after the ceremony. My bouquet travelled with me on our honeymoon, and still looked and smelled amazing after a week living in a large jug at the hotel.

Honestly they were perfect.

Some pictures of your beautiful wedding flowers. Thank you so much for creating these for me. Honestly they were perfect. Sheree did my flowers for my wedding and honestly they were absolutely perfect. We had rustic themed with beautiful gypsophilia and other white flowers. I had a beautiful and massive bouquet, the flowers were just perfectly themed for our day. Thank you so much.

The epitome of the word delight

What can I say about the service we received from Austin’s Flowers. Firstly Sheree has been the epitome of the word delight, from the very start meeting in Neros in Lakeside, to creating our mood board, tight through lockdown keeping up with us and checking in on our ever changing plans, and the final product is just breathtaking. People still mention my flowers as one of the best parts of our wedding day and I am so thankful

Sheree did the flowers for our ceremony and did an amazing job! She was quick to respond to all questions. Very accommodating to special requests, went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure she got it right. She was very creative and helped to make our vision come to life. I would highly recommend her. Thanks Sheree.

Highly recommended!

Highly recommended! Sheree at Austins Florist worked for days and nights in order to prepare and create the most stunning bouquets, buttonholes, centrepieces, wedding aisle floral hoop, wedding cake stand and our floral decoration around our ENTIRE wedding venue! Our wedding took place at Hutton Hall in May 2022.

Wouldn’t ever go anywhere else!

Wouldn’t ever go anywhere else! Sheree is amazing! She made our wedding perfect and brought our vision to life! Her knowledge and insight is second to none and recommended things we hadn’t thought of, and was honest when something we suggested wouldn’t have tied on and it honestly could not have been any more perfect if she tried! Sheree even went as far as helping us to think about what to do with the flowers after the wedding – another thing that hadn’t crossed our minds .

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

My first wedding. I had the privilege of creating my parents wedding flowers. We are a family business, so to start with a family wedding was perfect.

What about your business are you most proud of?

We build genuine connections with our couples, and still stay in touch with many of them. One of our Bride's announced their pregnancy using their wedding flowers.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Work out your needs and wants. This will help you to make sure that you can work to your budget, prioritising your needs, and with any left over budget you can go for your wants.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Memory buttonholes. It is such a beautiful way to remember lost loved ones at weddings.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Our usual process is that we start with collecting inspiration images from our couple and building a mini portfolio for their wedding. We then proceed to have a consultation, either in person or virtually, going over everything they want for their big day. After consultation we send a quote, with everything we have gone over during the consultation, we work together to make sure that this is exactly what the couple wants and are happy with. Once our couple are completely happy we send a contract and deposit is paid. The remainder is due one month before the wedding, and we deliver and set up on the day.

We do offer the option to order without consultation if this suits our couples more.

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

Something old - a late grandmother's broach. Something New - pearl pins in the roses. Something borrowed - a grandmother's wedding band. Something blue - a piece of blue ribbon from the mother's original wedding outfit.

This was so beautifully thought out to include all of the elements of the rhyme. The Bride did also have a sixpence in her shoe.

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

Stock. It has a beautiful scent, and one of our strongest memory triggers is our sense of smell. This would result in every time the couple smell its floral aroma, they would be taken back to their wedding day.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

The garden rose. It has all the beautiful symbolism of a rose, but with the most gorgeous scent.

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

This is entirely up to the couple. Some give them as gifts to their guests, some preserve them to keep forever, some keep them to enjoy in their homes, some request we collect and donate to local hospices and care homes.

There is no wrong answer to this question, and it all depends on the couple and what they would want to do with their flowers.
