I now have over 12 years experience in the industry and pride myself in the following key factors:
1) Keeping up with the latest trends whilst being adaptable and mindful of your preferences.
2) Providing great customer service throughout our journey together, and a service which makes you feel comfortable and relaxed that everything is taken care of.
3) Ensuring every last detail of what I'm providing is nothing less than perfect.
I'm extremely passionate about having an eco-friendly and sustainable approach to my designs and business - having seen first hand how wasteful the industry can be (not just floristry specifically, but weddings as a whole too), I'm now on a mission to prove it doesn't have to be that way. What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Get the big things sorted first - date, venue, caterering, colours - then we'll be much more prepared to suggest appropriate and complementing floral designs
Describe your typical process with a couple.
You guys are super busy trying to plan a wedding whilst living your everyday lives, so I love to provide an initial proposal before we arrange to meet in person - this way you can get an idea of my style and we know we're both on a similar track. It also helps to have something visually specific to discuss about your wedding. After the initial proposal is sent and you're happy we're a perfect fit, as many tweaks and changes to your proposal is no trouble at all - until you're happy it's absolutely perfect.
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
No! Some cultures have specific flowers that are important to them - but otherwise it's all about the flowers you love and want to be looking at and smelling on your wedding day (and for years to come whenever you look back at those gorgeous photos)
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
I urge guests or the happy couple to take them home to enjoy them for their final days
