What is your most memorable wedding?
We love the couples who come to us with a mash mash of songs that they want to dance too. We love a medley of songs and dance styles!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Personable, fresh, fun, amenable, professional.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Being unique and flexible for the clients in terms of where we can hold the dance lessons.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Start the first dance lessons early on in your planning so you feel more relaxed with the dance on the day with more practise under your belts!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The whole bridal party gets involved in the first dance, flash mob style. It certainly gives the guests something to talk about!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We work with the couples personalities, abilities, theme and aspirations for their first dance, entertainment and hen parties. We don't have fixed premises for the hen parties or dance lessons so we will travel to a location that suits the clients, and we don't have to work in a dance studio either. Quite often we may meet for lessons in an art gallery, a gym or the back of a pub for example. We will meet for dance lessons on a weekly basis, or longer intensive sessions over a weekend for example. You'll learn the foundation steps of your dance style and we'll choreograph a routine which can be as simple or adventurous as you wish. No previous dance experience is required!
What is your No. 1 top tip for keeping a crowd entertained?
Live music throughout the day is lovely - singers through the ceremony, a string quartet maybe during the drinks reception, and something fun and uplifting for the evening reception can do wonders for the atmosphere and make the day so memorable.
