Who is the Leeds Wedding Nanny?
Hello! I’m Sara, the founder of The Leeds Wedding Nanny. I live in Roundhay and have over 20 years of experience caring for children. I created this business to offer a truly bespoke, personal service for your wedding day. I am not an agency. When you book with me, I am the person you will be communicating with and the nanny you will meet on your big day.
What is your experience and qualifications?
I bring a wealth of professional knowledge to ensure your little guests have a safe and fun experience: Primary School Teacher: I currently teach in an Ofsted "Outstanding" school in Leeds. 15+ Years Teaching: I have over 15 years of experience in the classroom and a total of 20+ years in childcare. Ski Resort Nanny: Prior to teaching, I worked as a professional nanny in international ski resorts, handling high-energy environments with ease. Specialist Care: I have specialist training for children with additional needs. Peace of Mind: I hold a full DBS check, current references, regular safeguarding training, and I am paediatric first aid trained and fully insured.
Do you look after new-borns?
Absolutely. I have extensive experience with children from birth upwards. Whether it’s a newborn needing quiet cuddles so parents can enjoy the wedding breakfast or a baby needing precise bottle prep and sensory play, they are in expert hands.
What do you bring with you?
I arrive fully prepared to keep your little guests engaged and happy! I bring a curated selection of toys and crafts that are specifically tailored to your child’s age, developmental stage, and personal interests. Additionally, if it is appropriate for your venue, I can also provide: A play tipi: Perfect for creating a cozy "den" for quiet play or reading. Outdoor toys and games: To make the most of the venue’s grounds and keep active children entertained in the fresh air
What are your packages?
I believe your childcare should be as unique as your wedding day. Every family is different, which is why I don’t believe in a "one size fits all" approach. I offer bespoke wedding childcare packages that are completely tailored to your wedding schedule and, most importantly, your child’s individual interests and needs. While every plan is customized, my most popular starting points are:
The 6-Hour Package: Perfect for covering the "key moments" like the ceremony, wedding breakfast, and speeches.
The 12-Hour Package: Full-day care from the morning preparations right through to the evening celebrations.
Overnight Service: For your complete peace of mind, I can stay overnight at your venue to provide continuous care, allowing you to relax fully into the wedding festivities.
Whatever your requirements, I work with you to ensure your children are happy, safe, and beautifully cared for from start to finish.

I have a very strict policy regarding photography and social media:
No Faces on Social Media: I will never share photos of a child’s face on my Instagram or website. Any photos I share to showcase my setup or "day in the life" will be taken from behind or angled to ensure children remain anonymous.
Prior Consent Only: I will never take or share any photos—even of my play setups with children present—without your explicit, written consent first.
Respecting Your Day: Your wedding is a private family event. I am there to care for your children, not to create content. I am always mindful of your privacy and the privacy of your guests.
Data Protection: Any personal information or routines you share with me are kept strictly confidential and stored securely in line with professional standards.
