Rock 'n' Soul Events was born through the realisation that wedding DJs didn’t have to be cheesy, predictable, or stuck on the same old playlists. Couples deserve DJs who love music as much as they do — so we created a fresh and stylish alternative to your typical wedding DJ.
With over 10 years behind the decks, we have held residencies at some of Manchester's most famous venues including the Night & Day Café, 42s, and Band On The Wall, as well festival appearances such as Dot To Dot and Kendal Calling. Along the way, we’ve shared stages with artists such as Blossoms, Courteeners, The Cribs, The Maccabees, Dua Lipa and Johnny Marr to name a few. As well the clubnights and festivals, we have DJ'd at hundreds of weddings, and private and corporate events for all occasions.
We provide the full soundtrack to your night using professional sound and lighting systems. We believe that looking the part is just as important as the music that is played which is why we have built bespoke DJ setups to enhance the look and feel of your wedding. We are big music fans and have a particular passion for indie, rock 'n' roll, funk, soul, Motown, and the finest party classics from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s. We are enthusiastic in what we do however we are not your cheesy wedding DJ. We will not be talking over your favourite songs or telling jokes but we will ensure that we cover all of your introductions and formal announcements as required throughout the night. We like to let the music do the talking!
