Martin Duffy - Wedding Magician

I am so glad that I hired Martin as a magician for our wedding reception, and you shouldn't hesitate to do the same. From the first enquiry, Martin was incredibly accommodating and warm. He took the time to arrange an initial call with me to work out what we wanted and worked up a package that suited us. During the lead up to the wedding he was receptive to questions when we had them, and proactive with reaching out when he realised he needed some information. Very professional and we felt in very safe hands. This continued through to the day itself. We'd arranged for Martin to do a show for the kids followed by some close-up magic at our guests tables. This was originally timed to start roughly when we arrived back, but we were a little late returning to our reception due to traffic. Martin snapped into action and worked out the best time to execute the kids' show in our absence, before doing the close-up magic when our buffet had opened. My nephews (and my sister-in-law!) are still raving about Martin's show for the kids, and everyone was absolutely delighted with his performance at the close-up portion of the evening. Martin is not only a master magician but a great host and all-round entertainer. He is great at reading the room, and knows how to tailour his mannerisms and performance to entertain everyone. He manages to be funny without being crude, he is entrancing without being creepy, and he is warm without sacrificing the impact of his performance. Across the evening we'd hear a table go silent as Martin entranced them, punctuated only by hearty laughter and then the sound of rapturous applause as his routine for that table concluded. He then did a trick just for my wife and I which left us with a great memento of the day. Martin is an incredible find. Snap him up while you can, before he realises that he could easily charge three times the price he does and still be a bargain.

Martin bought some well needed magic to my 50th birthday , he circulated amongst the guests at the drinks before dinner and entertained both young and old. His tricks were brilliant and we had great feed back from our guests after the event . The booking process was professional and Martin was a great addition to our party. Great work and would highly recommend.

We hired Martin for our wedding as we were keen that people would be entertained in the gap between the ceremony and meal. On the day itself we kept hearing awed gasps and people crying out with joy as Martin worked his way around the room, and many people commented on how impressed they were with him. Martin was great to deal with - good communication and friendly! We'd definitely recommend hiring him for your wedding.

Martin was brill! I seen him at a wedding Fayre, and we were lucky enough for him to fit us in so last minute! He entertained all our guests while we had photos, but he still fit in a trick for me and my husband! Thanks again!
