What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Always speak with the talent and go with your gut feeling not just the price
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
There was no parking at the church so guests got there by train or taxi. But when the service was over, the couple had prepaid for black cabs to line up and chauffeur the guests to the reception venue. Pleasant surprise to the guests and thoughtful and classy by the couple.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Couple gets in touch with their vision of the day. Usually asks for our thoughts about what would work best with the magical entertainment. Based on their vision, we tailor the act to slot in at the best moments to ensure the guests are thoroughly entertained. The entire day is about the couple and the performance is designed to highlight their special day. Once booked, the magical entertainment is now one thing that the couple can consider sorted.
What is your No. 1 top tip for keeping a crowd entertained?
Charm and awe.
Where is the most memorable place you have performed?
That’s a secret I’m afraid. But the second would be the palace of the queen of Denmark
Have you had any interesting surprises at a wedding?
A few. One comes to mind. The couple wanted to book for 4 days, stating they’ll be covering travel and lodging for the duration (but not saying where). After the booking was confirmed they then said where the wedding would be. It wasn’t nearby. It was a fun and amazing wedding event and the couple were incredible fun and a picture of happiness. I still get invited to their wedding anniversaries celebrations.
What is your party trick?
My smile and ability to make everyone feel comfortable, at the same time having the crowd buzzing with expectation.
