I have a passion to tell people’s stories! I help and enable couples to organise the ceremony they want for their Wedding celebration. I am great at putting together thoughts and ideas and organising engaging, emotive and deeply personal ceremonies, turning the dream into reality. I’m easy to get on with, am an excellent listener and can deliver! Because I care, I listen intently to what my clients are saying and deliver what they want. If I’m to be part of somebody’s special day and create a lifelong memory then it may be useful to know that as a Civil Celebrant conducting Wedding Celebration, Commitment, Renewal of Vows, Naming & Welcoming and Celebration of Life ceremonies, I’ve helped over 200 individuals/families to achieve the ceremony they wanted in the knowledge that between us it couldn’t have gone any better 😊
My own! My own wedding took place in 1989, onboard the Empress Lilly (a Mississippi steamboat) moored on Lake Buena Vista in Disney Village, Florida! There were just six of us and a retired US RN Chaplain( who was licensed to marry) did the honours and over 30 years on we’re still together. We had just a week to organise our wedding ceremony, there was no internet or mobile phones but we managed and it was a day to remember!

Have a symbolic act i.e. handfasting during your ceremony as its a visible sign of your commitment and a wonderful photo opportunity!
All the guests signed a vintage tablecloth which was later embroidered as a lasting keepsake
arrange a meeting to have a chat
ask how they met, write a timeline of 'events' in their relationship, how the proposal happened, their hopes and dreams for the future, why they chose the venue, key players, what symbolic acts they'd like to include, then discuss vows, pledges or wishes they'd like to make to each other - they can keep them secret from each other till the day!
personalise the couples story with some elements the guests will enjoy and remember, involve them as well
