What is your most memorable wedding?
Oooh, tough one! I’ve been part of some absolute crackers over the years, but one that always sticks with me is a wedding where the bride's nan heckled me mid-performance - she said she hated magicians (totally get it) but the whole table erupted at the back and forth and she became my unofficial assistant for the next 20 minutes, and by the end she was demanding more and asking everybody if they had met the lovely tall magician with the beard.
It was chaos in the best way and reminded me exactly why I love doing what I do. Every wedding’s got its own magic (pun very much intended), but the ones with big personalities and belly laughs always stay with me.

What about your business are you most proud of?
I’m proud of the relationships I build with my couples. It’s not just about performing magic on the one day – it’s about being a part of their journey, and when it comes to it, making their wedding day truly unforgettable, with every detail taken care of.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
My top tip would be to focus on what matters most to you both and don't sweat the small stuff. The day will fly by, so make sure the moments that are truly important are what shine through. Also, bonus tip, get wedding insurance! Not that you’ll need it with me, but it’s always a good idea for peace of mind. You never know when a last-minute hiccup could pop up – better safe than sorry! And finally, leave some room for fun – after all, it is a celebration!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One of my favourites was where the couple created custom Top Trumps cards for every guest.
It was such a fun idea and a great way to get people talking, especially guests who didn’t know each other beforehand. The 'special skills' section on the cards in particular was very interesting!
Some of them were pretty unique and I was lucky enough to be booked for the full day, so I even got to see a few of the skills in action later on. A fantastic personal touch that got everyone involved and having a laugh!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I always start with a friendly chat, either in person or over the phone, to get to know the couple and understand their vision for their big day. It’s all about making sure we’re on the same page. I ask about the vibe they want for their wedding and what kind of experience they want for their guests.
Once we’ve got a feel for their style, I’ll tailor my performance to match their vibe. Whether it’s more intimate close-up magic during drinks reception or full-day entertainment with a dash of professional hosting, I make sure everything flows seamlessly and fits into their schedule. The couple always has the final say, and I’ll work around their plans to ensure I’m complementing the big moments, not interrupting them.
Throughout the process, I’m available for any questions, thoughts, or last-minute tweaks, your wedding is your day, and I’m here to make it as stress-free and magical as possible!
What is your No.1 top tip for keeping a crowd entertained?
My No.1 top tip for keeping a crowd entertained is to read the room and adapt. As a professional wedding magician, I make sure to engage with people naturally, often starting with a chat or a small, interactive moment to draw them in. I focus on keeping the energy high without overshadowing the main event, tailoring what I do to fit the flow of the day. Whether it’s a quick mind-boggling trick during a quiet moment to smooth over a delay or a larger performance to bring the group together, I always aim to keep everyone intrigued and involved, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable experience.
Where is the most memorable place you have performed?
I’ve been lucky enough to be invited to some truly stunning venues, sometimes I still can’t believe it! Whether it's a grand historic castle or manor house, a charming barn in the countryside, or a sleek city hotel, I’m never disappointed. Each venue brings its own unique charm, and it’s always interesting for me to see how different settings create different atmospheres. No matter the venue, what matters most is the people, and that’s always what makes the experience unforgettable for me!
Have you had any interesting surprises at a wedding?
Just when you think you've seen it all... adult bouncy castles (not rude), HUGE firework displays, Harley drive-bys, and even a red arrow flyover (not sure how much that one would've cost if it wasn't just an incredible coincidence). Oh, and a best man that was a musician, he performed a personalised rap and included the entire family, I promise it was better than you are imagining it!
Every wedding has its unique surprises, and that’s what makes them so much fun!
