We look at your venue, guest viewing area, take-off location, airspace, permissions, safety distances, weather exposure and the overall flow of the evening. Drone shows are spectacular, but they are also aviation operations, so we take the planning seriously from the very start. Our team handles the technical and operational details, working with you, your planner and your venue to make the process as smooth as possible.
A typical wedding drone show lasts around 8–10 minutes, which is the perfect length for a high-impact evening finale. Shows can be choreographed to music and designed to suit the tone of your celebration, from romantic and elegant to bold and celebratory. What makes a drone light show special for a wedding?
Our stock wedding drone show package starts from £6,500 for a beautiful 30-drone display, designed as a magical evening finale for your celebration.
This includes a romantic pre-designed show featuring wedding-themed moments such as hearts, rings, champagne and elegant light patterns, choreographed into a polished display. It is the most affordable way to have a FlightShows drone light show at your wedding.
Personalised additions, such as initials or your wedding date, can be added from £500. Fully bespoke wedding drone shows, designed completely around your story, start from £29,500.
What is included in your stock wedding package?
Our stock wedding package is designed to give couples a spectacular drone show without the full cost of a completely bespoke production.
It includes a wedding-themed drone display, pre-designed romantic animations, show programming, operational planning, venue coordination, safety paperwork and the required aviation planning. The result is a beautiful, professional drone show at a more accessible price point.
Can we personalise the stock wedding show?
Yes. The stock wedding show is already designed around romantic wedding moments, but you can usually add personal touches such as your initials, wedding date or a short custom moment.
This is a great option for couples who want the magic of a drone light show without commissioning a fully bespoke display from scratch.
Is a drone show a good alternative to fireworks?
Yes. Drone shows are a wonderful alternative for couples who want something spectacular, modern and memorable.
They are not the same as fireworks, and we don’t pretend they are. A drone show is more choreographed, more personal and more visual, with shapes, words and animations appearing in the sky. For many weddings, that makes it feel even more special.
How long does a wedding drone show last?
A typical wedding drone show lasts around 8–10 minutes. That is usually the perfect length for a high-impact evening finale: long enough to feel magical, but short enough to keep everyone fully engaged.
Can you perform at any wedding venue?
Drone shows need suitable outdoor space, safe distances from guests a suitable take-off and landing area, clear viewing angles and the right airspace conditions. Send us your venue and date, and we can advise whether a show is likely to be possible.
How far in advance should we book?
The earlier the better, especially for popular wedding dates and venues where permissions may take longer.
As an absolute minimum, we usually need at least 28 days, but we recommend getting in touch as soon as you have your wedding date and venue confirmed. More notice gives us the best chance of planning everything properly.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Drone shows are weather-dependent, so we monitor conditions carefully and plan responsibly.
Wind, rain and visibility all matter. We will discuss the practical options with you during the planning process, including sensible timing and contingency arrangements where possible. Safety always comes first, but we do everything we can to give your show the best chance of going ahead.
