The DJ booth and lighting setup are designed with weddings in mind — neat, modern and visually appealing. A professional lighting system helps set the mood, from warm and subtle lighting for early evening to vibrant dancefloor effects as the night builds, all controlled to suit your venue and timings.
Reliability and professionalism are at the heart of every booking. DJ Wilkes uses fully tested and maintained equipment, with backups in place for peace of mind. Music is mixed seamlessly, avoiding awkward pauses or cheesy moments, keeping the flow of the night just right.
From classic wedding favourites and singalong anthems to modern chart hits, house, R&B and party tracks, your playlist is built around your tastes. Requests are always welcome, and the music is adapted live to keep the energy exactly where it needs to be.

Do you take song requests?
Absolutely! I'm happy to take requests from you before the wedding and from your guests on the night, while making sure the dance floor stays full.
Can we choose our own music?
Yes. You'll receive a planning form before your wedding where you can add must-play songs, genres you love and any songs you'd rather avoid.
How long have you been DJing?
I've been DJing for over 10 years, performing at hundreds of weddings, private events and corporate functions across the UK.
Are you insured?
Yes. All equipment is PAT tested and I carry £2 million Public Liability Insurance for complete peace of mind.
Do you provide your own equipment?
Yes. I supply a premium FBT sound system, professional DJ booth, intelligent lighting and effects, with everything needed for an incredible evening.
Can you provide music for the ceremony and wedding breakfast?
Yes. I offer full-day wedding packages covering your ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening celebration.
Do you travel?
Yes. I'm based in Worcestershire and travel across the Midlands and throughout the UK. Travel is included within my standard service area, with longer distances quoted individually.
Can we meet before booking?
Of course. We can arrange a phone call or video call to discuss your wedding plans, music ideas and answer any questions before you book.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A 25% non-refundable booking fee secures your date, with the remaining balance due closer to your wedding.
What happens if your equipment fails?
I use professional, regularly maintained equipment and always carry backup equipment where possible, so your celebration can continue without interruption.
