Wedding World

This is a very late review, but I can't rate the ladies at Wedding World highly enough. After a few shops where I didn't feel like we had that special experience, I was so pleased that Anne and the team could squeeze me in before flying back to Kenya, where I was living and working. I absolutely loved and still love my dress, although I doubt I can fit in it anymore, as I'm expecting my first baby in July this year.

Perfect wedding dress shop experience. All the staff at wedding world was so welcoming from the moment I stepped in. Gave me professional advice and told me to try on every style possible! To top it of I said yes to the dress from here. Fitted perfectly thanks to the wonderful alteration. Nearly broke hubby to tears which I always dreamt of. Thank u sooo much. I was truely made to feel like a princess on my big day

Not only does Wedding World have a gorgeous selection of dresses, but Anne and her team are absolutely fantastic. They are very sincere and you can always rely on them to provide expert advice. I got married last month and knew I was in safe hands right from the start. I was always made to feel welcome when visiting the shop and that nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend. A true hidden gem in Shrewsbury! I live abroad so I researched the best wedding shops in Shrews, and by sheer coincidence I started my dress hunt at Wedding world. I can safely say that it has been the best shop I'd been to in Shropshire and abroad! The experience was so lovely, the vibe, the music, the friendly sales staff and the endless options! I would highly recommend paying this lovely shop for a visit if you're getting married :) <3 lots of love from across the ocean. xx Sara

I can't thank Anne and Sandra enough for finding me my absolute dream dress for my Florida elopement! I'd spent months of searching elsewhere before I finally got in touch and they knew exactly what dress I would want before I had even visited the store! They were both super friendly and always took their time with me during appointments so I never felt rushed. As I was eloping, I chose my wedding dress in quite an unconventional way but if I had been having a big wedding it would be the perfect place to go with a bridal party - the store is beautiful and the range is huge! Great range of dresses in the shop but they also have lots of creative ideas to help you get what you want. Both ladies made me feel welcome and special from my first appointment when I found the dress to the day, I took my dress home. The alterations to the dress were fine do perfectly not even I could see how/where they were!!

I visited a lot of shops in the hunt for my perfect dress but the experience you provided was the best by far. Your service was absolutely fantastic and you have such an awesome selection of dresses! Your vast knowledge is incredible and invaluable when trying to narrow it down. Whatever you are looking for you will find it at Wedding World, and some dresses that you weren’t aware you would like! Cannot recommend this place enough! To put it lightly, initially dress shopping was a bit of an ordeal for me yet I always felt comfortable and at home here; being welcomed with a nice cuppa and a hug! These ladies went to the ends of the earth to make my dress and my experience absolutely perfect... I must mention, not only did they alter my dress to fit me like a glove, they removed straps to attach to my veil, added extra sparkle and changed to a button-up back and even made a bolero so I had two different looks! Anne, you truly are a lovely lady. You really helped me, I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and patience (My Hubby seconds this haha!). Mike & I had an amazing Wedding day, he loved the dress and yes, I am relieved to say it was worth all the stress in the end like you said it would be! Can't wait to see you all again when it's my friends' turn! ;) x
